Oct 8, Oct 10 and Oct 11 were the only days with more negative than positive reviews. Oct 14, the day of a patch and the start of server transfers in NCSOFT's notices, was back to 74%.

Why does AION 2 have mixed reviews on Steam?
On Oct 15, 2026, 59.6% of the 31,029 Steam reviews were positive, which Steam labels Mixed. The daily table shows when it slipped: reviews written in Early Access (Sep 30 to Oct 4) were 64% to 83% positive, and reviews written from Oct 6 to Oct 13 were 46% to 61% positive. Game Rant (Oct 11) wrote that a lot of the complaints seem to focus on the monetization model rather than the gameplay. We do not read or sort review text ourselves.
